Christmas Spirit
As we come to the end of 2007, I pause for a moment to reflect upon the year before me. I pause for a moment to soak up the precious moments that await me as Christmas Day draws near. Yes, it’s another ‘silly season’ - or is it truly a time of cherishing those people in your life that make your life, and blessing all of the angels who crossed your path in 2007 with Goodwill.
Yes, I would much prefer to ENJOY the ‘silly season’, rather than spend time wishing it away. Wishing I had more time, money, sleep…more, more, more…When the truth is, I have exactly what I need at this point in my life because I have created it - ‘warts and all’.
Yes, that is correct. I have created it, just as you have created your life and everything in it.
Yes, each one of us has manifested our life based on the thoughts we think and from the emotions we feel. Each one of us has made choices that have led us to this very moment, where we sit reading these words upon this screen. Yes, we have all chosen to be here on this earth at this time and regardless of how truly inspiring your life is right now, or whether it sucks big time…you are where you are because you chose to be here.
We are so very powerful. We hold within us the potential to be all that we can be. We hold the key to our own happiness, abundance and love. We are the light we seek and we truly can choose to be and feel whatever we want, whenever we want.
So, this month, I send you blessings from my heart of hearts. I thank each and every one of you for your support, love and guidance as I go about creating the life of my dreams. So, whether you happened by us by ‘chance’, by a friend, by an email, by a festival, by birth…we would like you to know that we truly honour your connection with us and we look forward to a truly amazing 2008 together.
I would also like to take this moment to acknowledge the gorgeous man in my life - Gary. He is the one with me every single step of the way and together we work as one to do the very best we can with the journey before us. Namaste!
So, I ask you. Are you able to put your life into perspective and connect in with your heart of hearts this Christmas time and find peace and goodwill for self and others? Are you able to bring happiness and love into your heart and allow your heart to open and send happiness and love to others?
Or, will Christmas come and go (in a blurry haze) like every other year without pause or reflection, without true meaning and heartfelt love, without kindness and compassion…or, will you consciously choose to create your most joyful, loving, happy, relaxed and festive Christmas yet?
The choice is yours - and the best bit is…you can have it either way!
